Caregiver
About The Position

Senior Helpers is looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers to assist seniors across Central Iowa, including Guthrie Center, Adair, and surrounding areas. In this role, you’ll build meaningful relationships, bring comfort and dignity to others, and support older adults in maintaining independence in their own homes. We thoughtfully pair caregivers with clients and provide the training and support you need to succeed. Experience in assisted living, independent living, senior communities, nursing homes, home care, or similar healthcare environments is highly valued. Why Work with Senior Helpers? Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable individuals passionate about serving seniors in Central Iowa
- Background in home care, healthcare, assisted living, or related fields preferred
- Team players who are motivated to learn, grow, and take pride in their work
Nice To Haves
- Experience in assisted living, independent living, senior communities, nursing homes, home care, or similar healthcare environments
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living tasks, including meal prep, bathing, and light housekeeping
- Offer companionship and meaningful interaction
- Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and dignified home environment
