About The Position

CareFor is hiring a reliable, compassionate female caregiver to support a client recovering from generalized weakness following a prolonged hospitalization. This is a short-term assignment focused on helping the client regain strength and independence. ⚠️ Important Location Note: This client lives on 100 acres of rural land in Red Rock, TX. Reliable personal transportation is required to commute to the home. This role is ideal for caregivers who are comfortable with rural settings and live-in schedules. Schedule Overview Live-in case with 3–4 day rotations Case may be shared between two alternating caregivers Opportunity to stay multiple consecutive days at the home Overtime is paid for hours worked over 24 hours Who This Role Is Best For Caregivers who live south of Austin or within 30–40 minutes of Red Rock Caregivers who prefer live-in work and longer rotations Caregivers comfortable working independently in a rural environment Dog-friendly caregivers 🐶 (client has multiple dogs) Why You’ll Love This Role Same client each rotation — no bouncing between homes Live-in schedule with predictable rotations Ability to earn overtime pay Peaceful rural setting Short-term case with clear recovery goals Supportive office team + weekly pay

Requirements

  • Female caregiver (client preference)
  • At least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience OR a valid CNA license

Responsibilities

  • Assist with activities of daily living, including mobility support and light personal care
  • Encourage safe walking and movement as strength improves
  • Assist with meal prep and cooking
  • Provide companionship
  • Drive the client to hair appointments, errands and other outings as needed
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
  • Follow the care plan and communicate updates with the CareFor team
