Your heart. Their growth. Make a real difference by supporting individuals with disabilities Position: Caregiver - 2203R Starting Wage: $24.00/hour Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00am-5:00pm / Saturdays a 3 hour shift from: 11am-5pm Location: Hillsboro, OR, 97123 🌻 Client Bio: I am a spirited, curious, and loving child who deeply cares for my family. I enjoy new experiences and learning, while also benefiting from stability, predictability, and familiar routines to help me stay regulated. I have a strong need for sensory input and may use physical behaviors to communicate or explore my environment. I respond best to caregivers who remain calm, provide reassurance, and offer structured sensory activities. Patient redirection and consistency help me manage my energy and emotions. I require support related to aggression and elopement risk. Historically, aggression has been a form of communication and sensory seeking and has included pulling, tugging, scratching, pinching, self-hitting, head banging, and smashing items when frustrated, including my AAC device. Hair pulling has been noted in the past but is responsive to redirection and verbal cues, and is no longer a frequent concern. A caregiver who understands sensory needs, can recognize early signs of dysregulation, and provides calm, consistent support will be the best fit for me. 🌻 Why Join Us? We go beyond care.
