Caregiver – Long-Term Clients, No Shift Chasing
About The Position
At Tandem Care, we do caregiving differently — and we treat our caregivers differently, too. We’re a growing home care company built around long-term relationships, consistency, and real support. In our Continuous Care program, caregivers are matched to steady clients based on location, skills, availability, and personal preferences — not just who’s available first. We see caregivers as our clients, too. Our job is to support you, advocate for you, and place you in assignments where you can succeed and stay long-term. This role involves consistent schedules, ongoing support from a dedicated care team that actually knows you, thoughtful client matching (caring about fit, not just filling shifts), and opportunities for advancement within a growing company.
Requirements
- Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
- Must have completed a Live Scan background check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Smartphone (iPhone or Android) for scheduling and communication
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Comfortable with hands-on personal care and dementia support
- Value communication, teamwork, and reliability
- Fully open availability, weekday availability (ideally 5 days/week) or full weekend availability
- Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
- Comfortable assisting with bathing, hygiene, or incontinence care
