What You’ll Do Caregivers provide compassionate support with daily living activities, including: Bathing, dressing, and personal care Walking and mobility assistance Meal preparation Light housekeeping Errands and transportation Companionship and emotional support Respite care for families Realistic Job Expectations (Transparency Matters) We believe in being upfront so you can succeed: Emotional challenges when clients decline or pass away Every home environment is different—conditions can be unpredictable Occasional difficult clients or family dynamics Last-minute cancellations may impact hours/pay Schedule gaps between visits Independent work (no coworkers on-site) Who This Role Is Great For Individuals seeking flexible work that fits their schedule Students or those balancing other responsibilities Backgrounds in teaching, daycare, housekeeping, or nursing programs Anyone passionate about helping others and building relationships
Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of Michigan auto insurance & registration
- Able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Physically able to sit, stand, bend, reach, walk, and climb stairs
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass background checks and drug screening
