About The Position
Dignity is seeking full-time, part-time, and on-call dedicated Caregivers to provide quality non-medical care to individuals in their homes. Caregivers can help individuals and their families restore balance, order and peace to their lives. Shifts depend on the client needs in the home, majority consist of evenings and weekends. Requirements
- In-Home Caregivers Needed!
- Need Extra Cash!
- Must be available Days or Evenings, and Weekends (One Weekend Day Mandatory)
- $13.00 Hourly!
Responsibilities
- Change linens and make beds
- Prepare and plan meals (including clean-up)
- Help with walking and light exercise
- Plan ahead for future meals, check expiration dates on food
- Do laundry (may include light ironing)
- Light housekeeping duties (such as vacuuming and dusting)
- Assist with dressing, grooming and bathing
- Take out the trash
- Run small errands (pick up prescriptions, go to the bank, etc.)
- Remind when to take medications
- Engage in mental and physical exercises
- Escort to appointments (doctor, physical therapy, hair salon, etc.)
- Organize mail and maintain a schedule/calendar
- Engage in regular activities (talking, games, etc.)
- Provide companionship
- Record daily care notes
- Make note of any significant changes in the client to the agency/service
