The Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence. Requirements

  • Previous Home Health Aide/CNA Experience required, Training available.
  • High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
  • Clean background with no history.
  • Willing to keep client active
  • Good at communicating
  • Have driver's license and car

Responsibilities

  • Personal Care with ADLs and IADLs
  • Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair), change of position, with toileting.
  • Companion/Sitter/Household Management
  • Provide companionship and respite services for family
  • Stand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clients
  • Occasional Transportation to run errands or appointments
