About The Position

We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide support to a male client. He enjoys companionship, sharing stories, and building strong, friendly relationships with his caregivers. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who values connection and enjoys providing high-quality care in a calm, home-like setting. About the Client: Our client is a pleasant and easygoing gentleman who enjoys good company, walks outdoors, and watching television. He is known for his warm personality and his appreciation for genuine friendship and conversation. He loves Persian food and would truly enjoy having someone who appreciates or is open to learning about Persian culture and cuisine. The client is considered a fall risk , so caregivers must be attentive and cautious when assisting with mobility. Experience with fall-prevention techniques and proper transfer assistance is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Experience supporting clients with fall risk
• Patience, kindness, and strong communication skills
• Ability to provide companionship and build rapport easily
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Ability to respect and appreciate cultural preferences and traditions
• Live Scan
• CPR
• FIRST AID
• NEG TB TEST WITHIN LAST TWO YEAR

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with walking and mobility to ensure safety at all times
• Monitor and reduce fall risks around the home
• Support with light personal care as needed
• Prepare or assist with light meals (familiarity with Persian dishes is a plus!)
• Encourage engaging activities such as walks, watching favorite shows, and light conversation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
