About The Position

About the Client: Friendly, upbeat woman who uses a wheelchair and has a great sense of humor is looking for a compassionate and reliable caregiver. She shares her home with her two lovable dogs, so animal-friendly applicants are a must! Position Overview: The caregiver will provide day-to-day support to help the client maintain comfort, independence, and a positive daily routine. Ideal for someone patient, dependable, and who enjoys creating a warm, enjoyable atmosphere.

Requirements

• Experience with transfers or willingness to be trained
• Comfort working around dogs
• Reliable, patient, and friendly
• Ability to maintain client privacy and dignity at all times
• Previous caregiving or behavioral support experience preferred
• Ability to remain calm and patient under stress
• Team-oriented and able to work alongside another caregiver
• Reliable and punctual
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Live Scan
• CPR
• FIRST AID
• NEG TB TEST WITHIN LAST TWO YEAR

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe transfers (wheelchair ? bed, wheelchair ? chair, etc.)
• Help with meal preparation and basic household tasks
• Provide support with daily living activities as needed
• Offer companionship and engage in light conversation and humor
• Maintain a respectful, professional, and friendly environment
