About The Position

As a caregiver, you’ll provide essential non-medical assistance in clients’ homes, helping them maintain dignity, comfort, and independence. This includes companionship, personal care support, daily living help, meal prep, and light housekeeping for either morning or night shifts. We serve clients within a roughly 10–15 mile radius of the Denver Tech Center, so reliable transportation is essential. Our caregivers are the heart of what we do, and we back you with training, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team environment. One You Love Homecare provides high-quality, compassionate, non-medical home care services to help our clients live with dignity and independence. Our employees play a key role in delivering exceptional care to every person we serve, allowing them to continue living comfortably, safely, and independently in their own home. We train and manage all our caregivers, and there are currently caregiver jobs to fit any experience level.

Requirements

  • Experience in caregiving, home care, or related field preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance (if driving clients)
  • Ability to pass a background check (criminal & driving record)
  • Willingness to complete Colorado-required orientation, initial training, and competency evaluation before independent service
  • Commitment to ongoing annual training (4+ topics per year)
  • Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
  • Assist clients with mobility & transfers
  • Stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods

Nice To Haves

  • CPR / First Aid certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, mobility, toileting)
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding
  • Maintain client safety, monitor condition, and report changes
  • Adhere to infection control and emergency procedures
  • Transport clients safely to appointments and activities
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry
  • Remind clients about medications (non-medical support)
  • Clock in/out and document all tasks accurately
