About The Position

Interviewing for caregivers to work with a young adult in a wheel chair. We are looking for experienced caregivers with at least 1 year of experience. Caregiver will need to use a hoyer lift and be comfortable with providing personal care such as showering. Shifts are 9am-9pm and 9pm -9am Many of our clients need personal care assistance or assistance getting in and out of their bed or wheel chair. Clients and caregivers are matched based on skill level, personality traits and preferences to support long-term relationships.

Requirements

• Past Experience as a caregiver
• Hoyer lift experience or willingness to learn.
• A passion for the job and helping others.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Excellent references from past employers and supervisors.
• A hunger to learn how to best care for your client.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with daily living activities.
• Using Hoyer lift to assist client
• light housekeeping
• running errands
• meal preparation
• laundry as needed
