About The Position

As a Caregiver at Sevita, you will engage in rewarding work by helping individuals grow, learn, and live well. This role involves developing meaningful relationships with the people you serve and being empowered by leaders to make appropriate decisions for participants. You will take initiative to integrate participants into the community and help them enjoy their favorite activities. Support for participants includes developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Additionally, you will assist individuals with personal hygiene and provide support to those with behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
