Requirements

Compassion, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to help seniors live independently.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required—we value attitude and heart!
If you are a retired teacher, veteran, have experience in adult daycare or working with disabled adults, individual with experience in healthcare, former/current stay-at-home parent, or a generally compassionate reliable person who loves to help your community, Visiting Angels wants to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Personal care: assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, and feeding.
Companionship: conversation, games, reading, and social engagement.
Light housekeeping: laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and tidying.
Meals & nutrition: meal preparation and support with daily nutrition.
Errands & transportation: grocery shopping and appointments.
Medication reminders: help clients stay on track with medications.
