Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and families.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor, able to handle challenging situations with care.
• Ability to follow care plans and adhere to safety regulations.
• Good organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and obtain necessary certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to clients in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Administer medications as prescribed and assist with the management of health care supplies.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Engage clients in social, recreational, and cognitive activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.
