About The Position

Right at Home is seeking caregivers to assist seniors and disabled adults with activities of daily living in their homes or care facilities in Grand Rapids, MI. The company emphasizes providing support and opportunities to serve a vulnerable population, ensuring safety with personal protective equipment (PPE). They are looking for caregivers available for two or more shifts per week, preferably those able and willing to work 12-hour shifts 2-3 times a week. Both 12-hour day and night shifts are available 7 days a week. The role is essential for improving the quality of life for clients.

Requirements

A minimum of 6 months experience caring for a senior or adult
Warmth and compassion for people under your care
Ability to competently communicate and perform assigned tasks
Completion of a criminal background check, BMV check, TB test, and drug screen
Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

Licensed CNA and HHA certifications and experience

Responsibilities

Provide conversation, activities, light housekeeping, run errands, and transport/accompany clients to appointments and assist with medication reminders.
Provide personal care assistance which could include preparing meals, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, encouraging exercises, and grooming.
Communicate concerns and changes in condition to a supportive office and care team members to ensure clients are remaining healthy and quality of life is improving, while giving loved one’s piece of mind.
