About The Position

As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and seeking dedicated caregivers to join us. We are urgently hiring full-time caregivers to assist one client in Houston, TX (77077) . This position involves a Day Shift between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM , available on both weekdays and weekends. Position Details: Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Houston, TX 77077) Shifts Available: Full-time, Day Shift (8:00 AM–10:00 PM, weekdays & weekends)
Requirements
- Prior caregiving experience required (experience with seniors strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with breathing treatments (oxygen tanks, nebulizers) and medication administration
- Ability to pass a background check and reference check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and compassion toward elderly clients
- Must be willing to work short shifts on both weekdays and weekends
- Comfortable working in a home environment with one client
- Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care following the supervisor’s care plan, including:
- Assisting with daily living activities (meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, companionship)
- Administering scheduled medications and tracking compliance
- Assisting with breathing treatments (oxygen tanks, nebulizer)
- Monitoring and documenting the client’s health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns promptly
- Assisting with errands or transportation as needed
- Following all safety and infection control protocols to protect the client and maintain a clean environment
- Communicating effectively with the client, family, and supervisors to ensure the best care
