About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and responsible Caregiver to provide support to an individual during weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will assist with light housekeeping, accompany the individual on community outings (such as trips to the mall and grocery store), and provide timely medication reminders. Client Needs & Details: Requires constant supervision and engagement Displays behavioral challenges – caregiver must be calm, understanding, and adaptable Uses a wheelchair (no lifting required beyond assistance as needed) No toileting assistance required Enjoys companionship and interactive activities

Requirements

• Previous caregiving or behavioral support experience preferred
• Ability to remain calm and patient under stress
• Team-oriented and able to work alongside another caregiver
• Reliable and punctual
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Live Scan
• CPR
• FIRST AID
• NEG TB TEST WITHIN LAST TWO YEAR

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Assist with mobility and wheelchair use
• Monitor and address behavioral needs with patience and understanding
• Ensure a safe, structured, and positive environment at all times
• Work collaboratively with the other assigned caregiver
