About The Position
At Always Best Care Senior Services – Greater West Houston , we provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care for seniors and individuals who need support with daily living activities. We take pride in delivering care that promotes personal dignity, safety, and emotional well-being. As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are currently seeking dedicated caregivers to support an active client case in Richmond, TX (77406) . These positions are for an active case and require basic one-on-one care with gait belt experience . Location Greater West Houston Current Need: Richmond, TX 77406 Shift Schedule Sunday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM Type of Care Basic one-on-one in-home care with gait belt assistance.
Requirements
- Prior caregiving experience preferred (senior care experience is a plus)
- Gait belt experience required
- CNA certification is ideal but not required
- Ability to pass a background check and reference check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion, patience, and professionalism
- Willingness to travel up to 25 miles when needed

Responsibilities
- Follow the care plan outlined by a supervisor to assist with daily living activities
- Provide companionship and ensure client safety
- Assist with mobility using a gait belt as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Assist with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Monitor and observe the client’s overall well-being and report any changes
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors
