About The Position

As a Caregiver with Destiny, you will support a a MALE RESIDENT with daily living activities in the comfort of his home. Duties include general housekeeping, laundry, nutritious meal preparation, grocery shopping, and providing transportation to appointments. We are looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and comfortable with transfers. No lifting is required. Caregiver will assist with pushing the client in his wheelchair and helping him apply his prosthetic leg.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must pass a background check
Reliable vehicle with insurance
Strong reliability; our clients depend on you
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to follow tasks, procedures, and assignments
Friendly, caring, and compassionate attitude
Must have your own vehicle

Responsibilities

Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
Transport client to and from dialysis and doctor appointments
Support client with transfers (no lifting; pushing wheelchair and prosthetic assistance only)
Provide companionship and follow daily care routines
Maintain a safe and clean home environment
