About The Position
Caregiver - $6,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment). Zelienople, PA - Full-time, daylight 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Caregiver Pay Rate starting at $16.90 per hour. Provides assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) for home care clients only. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in providing service to frail elder clients according to assigned responsibilities and Home Care standards. This is a field position with a designated home office location in Butler and will be visiting residents on Passavant Community campus in Zelienople, PA.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Completion of training in specific areas as required by state regulations governing home care service providers.
- Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Must have dependable transportation with a valid driver’s license.
- Independently visit patients in their homes.
- Current CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience as a personal care giver with frail elderly is preferred.
