Requirements
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Physically able to lift at least 25 pounds, bend, kneel, and walk throughout the shift
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and vehicle registration
- Access to a reliable mobile phone for scheduling and communication
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must pass a background check
- Current TB test (may be completed after the interview process)
Responsibilities
- Drive the client using the client’s transportation van
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Possible errands and appointments
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s care needs
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
- Perform safe transfers using gait belts and Hoyer lifts (training provided)
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and outings
- Promote safety, dignity, and comfort at all times
