Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Physically able to lift at least 25 lbs., bend, kneel, and walk during shifts
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and vehicle registration
  • Access to a reliable mobile phone for scheduling and communication
  • Dependable, punctual, and professional
  • Must pass a background check
  • Current TB test (may be completed after interview process)

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
  • Support clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or memory care needs
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
  • Perform safe transfers using gait belts and Hoyer lifts (training provided)
  • Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social outings
  • Promote client safety, dignity, and comfort at all times
