Caregiver Needed in Ormond Beach
About The Position
Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life. The individual is in need of a caregiver to support with ADL's, personal hygiene, and community outings. This is an independent contract position and pays $15.25 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday 4:30pm-8pm, Saturdays 9am-9pm and Sundays 9am-9pm You will be a good fit for this position if you: Have a positive outlook and contagious energy Demonstrate patience and compassion
Requirements
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Have a Valid Driver's license
- Are 18 years of age or older
- HHA Certification
Responsibilities
- Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
- Assisting with personal hygiene
- Meal/snack preparation
- Ensuring individuals safety and maintaining a safe living environment
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to the park
- Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes
