Requirements

  • CNA or HHA certification preferred OR 6 months full-time / 12 months part-time experience caring for seniors or chronically ill individuals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and auto insurance required if transporting clients
  • Proof of current TB testing
  • Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the role
  • Dependable, punctual, and compassionate nature
  • Must pass a national criminal background check and any state-required screenings

Nice To Haves

  • 1,000 hours of long-term care experience preferred, but not required for newly licensed CNAs or PCAs

Responsibilities

  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Light cooking and housekeeping
  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting
  • Offering medication reminders and mobility assistance
  • Providing transportation to appointments, errands, and activities
