About The Position
FirstLight hires Caregivers, Home Health Aides, CNAs, Care Coordinators, Companion Care and Personal Care Assistants who have a genuine desire to enrich the lives of others and help them have their best day, every day. Our professional caregivers provide safety, comfort and companionship for adults who need support. But we do more than make a meal or help with mobility. We establish meaningful relationships built on trust and respect. We give you the care, support and training you need to be the best caregiver you can be so that you can make a difference in the lives of others! This franchise is independently owned and operated by a local franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this local office. All inquiries about employment at this location should be made directly to the franchisee, and not to the FirstLight Home Care Support Center.
Requirements
- Current HCA registration
- Recent TB test
- Driver’s License
- Personal vehicle with valid auto insurance
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
- Transport seniors to appointments, social events and run errands
- Assist with mobility and transfer needs
- Preparing and serving meals
- Assist with nighttime routines such as preparing for bed, personal care, and providing occasional incontinence care
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the client's condition
- Respond to any client needs or emergencies that may occur
