About The Position

This position is for an experienced Caregiver / Home Care Aide who is dedicated to providing exceptional care and compassion to clients. The role involves offering personalized care, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, and providing transportation for appointments and errands. Responsibilities also include preparing and serving meals according to dietary needs, performing light housekeeping tasks, and offering companionship through social activities. The Caregiver is expected to monitor and report any changes in a client's condition to medical professionals, document all tasks and care notes, and strictly adhere to HIPAA guidelines to maintain client confidentiality. Part-time shifts are available with flexible scheduling options.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Reliable, Insured Vehicle
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Registration or willing to register to be on the Home Care Aide Registry

  • 1 year of previous professional experience as an in home Caregiver / Home Care Aide or similar

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Transport clients to appointments, errands and other
  • Prepare and serve meals while adhering to dietary requirements as needed
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living areas
  • Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients
  • Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate medical professionals
  • Document tasks and create care notes for each visit
  • Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality
