About The Position
As a caregiver at Visiting Angels, you’ll build relationships, improve the quality of life and serve the elderly & veterans in need of love and care. Your goal will be to help individuals enjoy life by helping them perform their simple daily functions; meal prep, light exercise, local transportation, social interactions, and housekeeping. Your compassion and diligence as a caregiver will bring joy into the lives of the clients you work with and help them feel encouraged, involved, and loved. At Visiting Angels -- Staunton, our caregivers are the heart of our agency. Due to the outstanding performance of our caregivers, we are winners of multiple awards.
Requirements
- Caregiver experience
- PCA (personal care aide), Nurse Aide Course Completion Certificate, or CNA (certified nursing assistant) license
- Driver’s License
- Personal Vehicle
- Auto Insurance
- Basic computer, telephone, and smart phone skills
- Visiting Angels requires ALL caregivers to pass a state-mandated criminal background check, reference check, and drug screen.
