The Pointe at Lifespring 4371 Lifespring Lane Knoxville TN 37918 Job Title: Caregiver Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team and provide essential support and assistance to individuals who require help with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing personality and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in their care. This role is pivotal in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or an associate degree in a related field is a plus.
• Demonstrated reliability and patience, with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and confidentiality.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required, depending on the assignment.
• First aid and CPR certification are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.
• Support clients in mobility, including helping them in and out of beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in recreational activities to promote mental and emotional wellness.
• Monitor and report any changes in a client's condition to family members and healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications as prescribed and assist with managing medical appointments.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living areas to ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate records of care plans, activities, and any changes in health or behavior.
