About The Position

Caring Senior Service is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide in-home support for an elderly client in Lyons, NE. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering quality care and building meaningful connections with those they serve.
Schedule: Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Requirements

• No prior caregiving experience required — we'll train the right person!
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• A patient, empathetic approach with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support the client with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Offer genuine companionship and emotional support throughout the day
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Provide medication reminders and maintain a clean, safe living environment through light housekeeping
• Accompany the client to medical appointments and errands
• Observe and communicate any changes in health or behavior to the family or care coordinator
