About The Position

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to assist a client in their home. This role involves providing hands-on personal care, companionship, and support with daily living activities while ensuring the client’s comfort and safety.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience preferred; incontinence care experience strongly preferred
• Ability to assist with personal care and mobility support
• Physically able to safely assist client with transfers and weight support
• Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
• Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing and showering
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with dressing and personal grooming
• Assist with grocery shopping
• Support with incontinence care
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Prepare simple meals
• Help maintain a safe home environment
• Schedule appointments for physicians and laboratory visits
• Assist with mobility and safely support client’s weight as needed
