Part Time Caregiver needed in South Daytona
About The Position
Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life. The individual is a 48 year-old man in need of a caregiver to support him with personal care, provide companionship and engaging him in activities. He enjoys videogames, arts and crafts and coloring. This is an independent contract position and pays $16 per hour Hiring incentive once criteria is met! Schedule: Monday and Tuesday 10am-2pm You will be a good fit for this position if you : Have a positive outlook and contagious energy Demonstrate patience and compassion
Requirements
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Have a Valid Driver's license
- Are 18 years of age or older
Responsibilities
- Assistance with personal care
- Meal/snack preparation
- Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
- Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes
