About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in Milan, MI. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support to clients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to pass background checks
- Must have own transportation to make it to the client home and back
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a genuine desire to help others
- Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting or assisting clients
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Help clients with mobility and transferring as needed
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition to supervisors
- Follow care plans and protocols established by healthcare professionals
