Requirements
- CNA or HHA license preferred OR 6 months full-time / 12 months part-time experience caring for seniors or chronically ill individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation (valid driver’s license and auto insurance required if transporting clients)
- Proof of current TB testing
- Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the role
- Dependable, punctual, and compassionate
- Ability to pass a national background check and any state-required screenings
Nice To Haves
- 1,000 hours of long-term care experience preferred but not required for newly licensed CNAs or PCAs
Responsibilities
- Companionship and emotional support
- Light cooking and housekeeping
- Assistance with bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Medication reminders and mobility support
- Transportation to appointments, errands, or activities
