Requirements

  • CNA or HHA license preferred OR 6 months full-time / 12 months part-time experience caring for seniors or chronically ill individuals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation (valid driver’s license and auto insurance required if transporting clients)
  • Proof of current TB testing
  • Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the role
  • Dependable, punctual, and compassionate
  • Ability to pass a national background check and any state-required screenings

Nice To Haves

  • 1,000 hours of long-term care experience preferred but not required for newly licensed CNAs or PCAs

Responsibilities

  • Companionship and emotional support

  • Assistance with bathing, grooming, and toileting
  • Medication reminders and mobility support
  • Transportation to appointments, errands, or activities
