About The Position

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client in Milwaukee. This position focuses on assisting with daily living activities while ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to assist with personal care and mobility needs
• Must have reliable transportation
• Comfortable working in a home where the client smokes
• Dependable, patient, and professional
• Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing and showering
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with dressing and personal grooming
• Prepare simple meals
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Maintain a safe home environment
• Schedule appointments with physicians and laboratories
• Assist with mobility and be able to safely handle client’s weight
