About The Position
Hiring skilled, compassionate caregiver in our area! Searching for an evening caregiver for an Elderly Male with Dementia/Alzheimer's in New Braunfels, TX. He is in need of assistance with ADL/IADL's, meal prepping, stand by assist, safety supervision, fall prevention, medication reminders, and pet care. Evening shift Monday-Friday from 5pm-9pm Possible PRN Saturday and Sunday Compensation: Best base rate in the region: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour Weekend pay differential of an additional $1 on top of base pay Automatic travel reimbursement between clients Other Benefits: Merit pay increases Paid time off (PTO) Paid professional training – 12 continuing education hours each year with Relias online learning Dementia training and certification with our agency and Alzheimer’s Association Unlimited $200 caregiver referral bonuses Flexibility based on your schedule, from PRN to 12-hour days/nights Thoughtfully matched caregivers with clients (personality, needs, location, availability) Services our caregivers provide for clients are: Activities of daily living Personal care Ambulation/transfers Safety supervision/fall prevention Meal prep/light housekeeping Transportation Our ideal caregiver: 18 years or older Has at least 1 year direct hands-on caregiver experience (family counts!) Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Has at least 1 year direct hands-on caregiver experience (family counts!)
- A good driver with reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Completes a negative drug screening (including for THC) and clean background check (no criminal convictions)
