About The Position

SeaStar Senior Services is a professional in-home care and care management company in Portland, Oregon and is looking for professional certified nursing assistants and caregivers who want to be part of a great company that is focused on providing quality, compassionate care to our clients. We currently have the following IMMEDIATE need: 1 - Gentleman in SE Portland, is autistic, can be a challenging client. Hours are 9:30am-5:30pm; med pass 8:00pm-8:30pm every night. Male caregiver is required. No personal care needed. AT LEAST 3 years experience preferred. Duties:. Provide home care to clients living in their own homes Meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands Social interaction with the clients - puzzles, games, reading Medication administration, depending on assigned client needs Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with seniors and adults with disabilities CPR certified or able to obtain Good observational and writing skills Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Must have a smart phone for clocking in and out and documentation Driver's license, car, and clean driving record required Compensation: Pay starts at $21 an hour depending on experience, education, and assigned client ($1 differential for this client) PTO leave Medication and annual training $150 bonus at 90 days for CNA's Our Commitment to Quality Onboarding If you are seeking an agency where you are interviewed one day and sent to a client's home the next day, we are not that agency.
