Make a real difference by supporting individuals with disabilities Position: Caregiver - 2072R Starting Wage: $24.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-6:30pm Location: Portland, Oregon, 97213 🌻 Client Bio: I am high-energy, outgoing, and love engaging with others. I enjoy playing with puzzles, magnets, blocks, and role-playing activities like pretending to be a doctor. I've made great strides in reading and enjoy interactive learning activities. I do best with caregivers who can match my energy, provide consistent redirection, and use positive strategies to support compliance. Requirements

  • 18 years or older with 1 or more years of care experience
  • CPR and First Aid certified or willing to get certified
  • Own a smartphone
  • Legal U.S. work authorization and background check
  • Driver’s license and insurance for some roles

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Daily Living - From helping with meals, bathing, or getting ready for the day, you’ll provide care that helps members feel confident and comfortable.
  • Encouraging Independence - Join members on walks, shopping trips, or community outings, helping them connect with the world around them.
  • Building Life Skills - Teach and model everyday skills like cooking, managing money, and understanding social cues - empowering members to grow and thrive.
  • Keeping Things on Track - Follow care plans, offer medication reminders, and document progress so our team can celebrate every milestone together.
