Requirements
- Caring and Compassionate—you enjoy helping others
- Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients
- Excellent communication skills (ability to pass a written and oral English comprehension exam)
- Required: 1+ years professional experience OR experience caring for a loved one
Nice To Haves
- Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and help your clients participate in activities they enjoy
- Help your clients with daily tasks such as preparing meals, driving to appointments, and housekeeping
- Assist your clients with walking, dressing, bathing, and other personal care needs
- Record activities that were completed/not completed with your clients
- Provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
