About The Position
Compassion Attentiveness Empathy Our dedicated Caregiver provide the best elder care in our amazing community of Villa Court Assisted Living and Memory Care of Las Vegas. Our team makes a difference in the lives of our residents, their families and our community . A Caregiver/Med Tech provides assistive care encompassing all adult daily living skills , Activities of Daily Living (ADL) , recreational, and socialization. Requirements
- Must possess, at a minimum, a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have current CPR/First Aid certifications
- If required by your state of residence, completion of state approved Caregiver program
- Must have certification of state approved Medication Aide program for the Med Tech position
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with ADL's, bathing, dressing/undressing, grooming, personal hygiene, incontinence care, etc.
- Take vital signs as assigned.
- Maintain controls of and administers prescribed medications and treatments for residents
- Promote self-help and independence of residents by encouraging the maintenance or attainment of the highest physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
- Perform first aid and initiate emergency response procedures as required.
