Position Summary We are looking for a dependable and patient caregiver to support an individual in their home with daily living needs. The ideal candidate is responsible, understanding, and passionate about helping others maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving or behavioral support experience preferred
- Ability to remain calm and patient under stress
- Team-oriented and able to work alongside another caregiver
- Reliable and punctual
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Live Scan
- CPR
- FIRST AID
- NEG TB TEST WITHIN LAST TWO YEAR
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene.
- Support with mobility, transfers, and light exercise routines.
- Meal preparation and assistance with feeding (as needed).
- Light housekeeping and maintaining a safe environment.
- Medication reminders (no administration).
- Companionship and emotional support.
- Documentation and communication with staffing team.
- Follow care plan and agency guidelines.
