About The Position

Friendship Village is recruiting for Compassionate and Energetic Caregiver to join our Independent Living Team! This opportunity is PRN or As Needed on Second Shift (3p-11p) has Flexible Scheduling, Benefits, and A Fun Work Environment. Starting pay is $16.00. This role provides full-scope, hands on functions within the community. Requirements

Must be at least 17 years old.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
Ability to document care given.
Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status. This could include MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, and flu vaccine status.

Nice To Haves

Prior geriatric care experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Assists patients with dressing, grooming, eating, positioning, turning, toileting, and exercising.
Transfers, transports and escorts patients as needed.
Answers signal lights promptly
Gives prompt and efficient assistance to nursing personnel in non-professional duties and care of residents under supervision of RN and LPN.
