About The Position

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking experienced and dependable Caregivers who are confident providing all levels of care. This role is ideal for caregivers who are flexible and available to accept pick-up shifts while delivering high-quality, compassionate care in clients’ homes.

Requirements

• Candidates must be experienced and comfortable with all levels of care, including:
• Hoyer lift transfers
• Sit-to-stand transfers
• Gait belt assistance
• Catheter care (all types)
• Blood pressure monitoring
• Medication reminders/assistance
• Glucose monitoring
• Full hands-on personal care
• Comfortable working in homes with pets
• Comfortable working in homes where the client may smoke
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to follow a care plan and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing and dressing
• Prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping
• Maintain a safe home environment
• Provide mobility assistance and hands-on personal care as needed
