About The Position
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Caregiver to support a male client who requires assistance with daily activities and transportation. Responsibilities Include: Driving client to appointments , church , senior center , and other outings Assisting with wheelchair transfers and transitions (client has no mobility in his legs) Providing support with daily living activities as needed Ensuring safety, comfort, and companionship during outings and at home Must be comfortable assisting with wheelchair transfers Experience working with mobility-impaired clients preferred Reliable, patient, and professional
Requirements
- Previous caregiving or behavioral support experience preferred
- Ability to remain calm and patient under stress
- Team-oriented and able to work alongside another caregiver
- Reliable and punctual
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with mobility-impaired clients preferred
- Comfort working around dogs
- Reliable, patient, and friendly
- Ability to maintain client privacy and dignity at all times
- Experience with transfers or willingness to be trained
