About The Position
At Five Star Senior Living, we are dedicated to enriching and inspiring the journey of life for our residents. We are currently seeking compassionate Resident Assistants (RAs) to join our team at The Gables at Winchester. In this role, you will provide essential support to our community's residents, assisting them with daily tasks that they may no longer be able to perform independently. This includes helping with personal hygiene, medication management, and mobility assistance. Our RAs play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents, and we are looking for individuals who are sensitive, respectful, and passionate about helping those in need. As a Resident Assistant, your responsibilities will include providing care by assisting residents with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. You will also support residents with their medication, ensuring they take the correct dosages as prescribed. Additionally, you will be responsible for repositioning residents in bed, escorting them around the community, and providing toileting and incontinent care. Taking vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate, is also part of your duties. You will need to communicate effectively with the nursing staff, observing and reporting on residents' health and any changes in their condition.
