About The Position

The Caregiver position at Right at Home involves providing non-medical, in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities. The role focuses on assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and ensure their comfort in their own homes. Caregivers will engage in various tasks tailored to the individual needs of clients, promoting their independence and well-being.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• 1 year of experience as a CNA
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
• Pass state mandated criminal background check and drug screen
• Current TB test
• Read, write, speak, and understand English

Responsibilities

• Assisting with transfers and ambulation
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing
• Meal preparation and cleanup
• Accompanying/Transporting clients on errands or medical appointments
• Medication reminders
• Dementia and Alzheimer's care
• Laundry and light housekeeping
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
