About The Position

Age in Place Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable in-home caregivers to provide direct support with daily living activities for clients, particularly those with severe dementia. The role emphasizes ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients in their homes, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and companionship.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED or ability to pass a competency test.
• Valid Pennsylvania, New York, or Ohio Driver License with valid insurance for driving positions.
• Willingness to utilize and learn company operating systems.
• Ability to pass all pre-employment testing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in caregiving, homecare, hospice, or similar fields.
• HHA, DSP, PCA, CNA, long-term care, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Experience with seniors, particularly those with memory loss such as dementia or Alzheimer's.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Assist clients with their plan of care (POC).
• Support clients with personal hygiene and companionship.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and gait belts.
• Provide community support by running errands and attending appointments.
