About The Position

Do you love helping people and are looking for the opportunity to provide 1:1 in-home care? We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one support, companionship or personal care work with our in-home patients in Nicholasville, KY and the surrounding area. This is a PRN position. Now Offering a Loyalty Bonus of $200 after your first 80 hours of service and $300 once 200 hours of total service is worked! Requirements

• Six months experience in home care preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to work flexible hours as required to meet identified patients' needs.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the patient.
• Able to work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, self-directed, good time management skills, courteous, and common sense.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
• Must possess the disposition and personality to work harmoniously with a wide variety of people and their families keeping personal matters confidential.
• Must possess a strong commitment to the goals, mission, and philosophy of the organization.
• Ability to adapt to changing organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions for individuals to remain in their own home.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, care of hair, care of teeth and mouth, nail care, skin care, and transferring patients.
• Report observations of the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager.
• Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations when business travel is required.
• Assist with household tasks directly essential to clients' personal care.
