About The Position
1,000 Sign On Bonus! (excludes PRN Staff; Attendance and Performance considered) Conroe / Grangerland Integrated Community Services is hiring a part-time (25 hours per week) Caregiver - CNA to provide care, support, and activities assistance to an individual with intellectual and physical disabilities in the Conroe area (near the intersections of 242 and Conroe Porter Rd. Personal care of an individual with developmental disabilities and physical disabilities in a natural home setting. The ideal candidate would have Caregiving, Direct Support and/ or Direct Care, C.N.A. or Home Health experience. To support our population of individuals one must be fun, clean, mature, dependable, organized, respectful, and patient in challenging situations. Rate of Pay : $12.00-$15.00 Part-Time Position: Monday - Friday Hours: 8:00am - 2:00pm
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Valid and current Texas Driver’s License
- Clean Criminal Background (no barring offenses)
- Clear DMV Check
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Proof of Education
- No confirmation of Abuse / Neglect / Exploitation of an elderly or disabled person
- No history of Medicaid fraud
Nice To Haves
- Current C.N.A. Certificate preferred, but not Required
- Caregiving, Direct Support and/ or Direct Care, C.N.A. or Home Health experience
Responsibilities
- Assistance with Grooming and Toileting
- Assistance with G-tube feeding(s)
- Assistance with Medication Administration
- Assistance with Range of Motion Therapies
- Assistance with turning/ rotating client every 2 hours
- Hoyer Lift experience
- Communication with family members
- Specialized Documentation
