About The Position
Senior Helpers Melbourne is seeking a compassionate and dependable Spanish-speaking caregiver to provide quality in-home care and companionship to seniors. The caregiver will assist clients with daily activities, ensuring comfort, safety, and respect while communicating effectively in both Spanish and English.
Requirements
- Must speak and understand Spanish and English
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Must pass background screening and have valid work authorization
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.)
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands if needed
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to the office
- Communicate clearly with clients, families, and team members in Spanish and English
