About The Position

Caregivers provide assistance to individuals, in their own homes and/or their communities, who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of age, rehabilitation, disability and/or other issues. Services may include assistance with the activities of daily living (ADLs), light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, companionship and respite care. Caregivers are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant local office policies and industry standards.

Requirements

• Experience in caregiving or related field
• Ability to work in a respectful and caring manner
• Knowledge of local office policies and industry standards

Nice To Haves

• Experience with elderly or disabled individuals
• Certification in caregiving or related fields

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Prepare meals for clients
• Provide transportation for clients
• Offer companionship to clients
• Deliver respite care as needed
